Satellite TV growing in Canada

According to the Calgary news, Canadians are tuning in to satellite television in greater numbers, while cable sales remain flat. Last year, the number of Canadian households with satellite TV rose to nearly 2.5 million, an increase of 170,000, or eight per cent. Although cable TV providers still hold a dominant share of the Canadian market, the number of households with cable TV last year fell by about 24,000 to 6.61 million.Direct TV vs. Dish Network
